The Blues EZX
Need some authentic Blues drum tracks for your next project? ToonTrack's new Blues EZX is a great sounding EZ Drummer add-on.
The Blues EZX comes with two complete kits; a 1970s Gretsch and a calfskinned Swedish Levin set from the 1940s.
On top of that, it features contemporary Paiste and Sabian crashes, vintage Zildjan A and K series cymbals as well as extras such as a suitcase and a set of calfskinned tambourines.
All instruments were handpicked and in many cases road-worn by the sampling drummer himself, a blues musician with decades worth of experience behind the kit playing the blues. It was recorded in an empty Swedish theater and later mixed in a high-end studio through vintage and modern outboard gear.
The end result is a cross-pollination between new and old; warm and characteristic sounds that cover the whole range, from old school to modern, from dry to ambient. This is the sound of then, now and time to come.

The Presonus StudioLive series has been incredibly popular, and the new 3StudioLive 32.4.2.AI at $3999.95 adds more channels plus Active Integration to work with their new monitors. Don't want to spend $4K? Check out the StudioLive 16.0.2 for only $1299
With its incredible signal-processing power on every channel, easy store and recall of every setting, and the ability to record it all with just two mouse clicks, a StudioLive mixer will spoil you fast! Easier to use, better sounding, and flawlessly integrated with state-of-the-art software, it delivers the most creative environment possible for both live performance and studio music production.
The 32-channel, 14-aux PreSonus StudioLive 32.4.2AI starts with all the strengths of previous StudioLive models and then pushes the technology to the next level.
StudioLive 32.4.2AI is built with next-generation Active Integration technology that adds unprecedented power for mixing consoles anywhere near this price class. So while the 32.4.2AI looks and feels much like its non-AI counterparts it has with far more computing power, which makes possible some very useful new features.
For starters, you get twice as many internal effects buses and 31-band graphic EQs. They've added six mute groups and user-assignable Quick Scene buttons. You’ll love the ability to create two complete sets of EQ and dynamics settings for a channel or bus and then make quick A/B comparisons at the touch of a button.
A built-in 48x34 FireWire S800 interface is standard equipment but Thunderbolt and Ethernet (Dante) cards are expected by the end of 2013. A dedicated USB 2 port and included Wi-Fi LAN adapter lets you control the mixer wirelessly even without a Mac or Windows PC.
The future is Active Integration
Products that sense each other, interact and work together via wireless and wired communication, feature 32-bit floating-point DSP and seamlessly integrated software, and run on CPUs far more powerful than competitors’ current audio products PreSonus has realized this dream with its new Active Integration technology.
Thanks to Active Integration, the StudioLive 32.4.2AI mixer has 64 times the processing power and an incredible 10,000 times more RAM than the StudioLive 24.4.2. This makes possible the aforementioned extended feature set.
StudioLive 32.4.2AI is the first mixer to employ Active Integration but the technology also is at the heart of the new StudioLive AI-series PA speakers and will be an essential technology in an entire ecosystem of PreSonus products in the future.

Everything you need for recording and producing in one package! You get an audio interface, mic, headphones and software!
The AudioBox Studio provides the basic tools you need for multi-track song production, demos and musical inspirations along with live performances and podcasts.
The AudioBox is the heart of the AudioBox Studio. Perfect for musicians and podcasters, the 2-channel AudioBox USB boasts high-performance microphone preamplifiers and professional-quality, 24-bit converters. Powered by your computer, it's compact, ruggedly built and designed to work perfectly with Studio One recording and production software on your PC or Mac.
Included with the AudioBox and Studio One software is the M7 large-diaphragm condenser mic. Large diaphragm microphones like the M7 tend to “warm up” a sound and are a great choice for recording vocals and for recording instruments when you want a “deep” sound.
PreSonus also includes their high-definition HD7 headphones so you can take advantage of a patented, semi-open sound chamber to deliver exceptionally deep low frequencies with a balanced and yet powerful bass punch.

Reason 7 will be available soon, and if you purchase Reason 6.5 now, not only do you receive a free upgrade to Reason 7 from Propellerheads, but you also can save $100 off the regular price while supplies last.
Reason is a virtual studio rack with all the tools and instruments you need to turn your ideas into music. With its generous sound bank and intuitive flow, Reason helps you along in the creative process and is the music software that never gets in your way.
Walk into any professional recording studio and you will see racks filled to the brim with different tools used in music production from reverb to compressors, vocoders, synths, distortion units, and parametric Eqs. The studio's rack is the heart of its creative factory. Reason and Record are no different. That is why we have outfitted your computer with a virtual rack filled with all the same gear. They look and function exactly like their hardware cousins. Even better, they sound just as good too.
Unlike a real studio, however, if you want another synth or an extra compressor you can create one from a menu rather than taking that second job or signing up for those experimental clinical drug trials.
Buttons, knobs, faders and flashing LEDs — Reason's interface looks and feels like an instrument.
In Reason, the sequencer and instruments are designed by the same people. With its total integration, no configuration or connections are needed — they are part of the same package and all the parts work seamlessly with each other.
You build your rack as you work on your song. Create instruments and effects and route them any way you want to. Add, delete, replace and tweak. Your rack is what you want it to be.
Flip the rack over to access the backside with all the cables and connectors. Here you can manually route anything to anything, just like in a real studio. Or simply leave it to Reason to automatically connect all your instruments and effects, unlike a real studio.
Each cable plugs into exactly two holes, just like most real cables do. Only in Reason, you don't even have to crawl around the back side, unless you want to of course.
If it looks like a button, it is a button. If you see a handle, it's for dragging. All controls in Reason look and feel natural to work with and integrate with your favorite hardware controller.
What you see is really what you get. Reason offers everything at face value. No hidden screens, sub-menus or windows to flip through. The sequencer collects all notes and automation for each track, clearly laid out and easy to work with.
Easy to get started with and as deep as you want it to be. Many devices have macro controls for ease of use. If you want, open them up and explore and tweak all its components within.
