You get a great computer that was designed specifically for music production, and you also get one point of contact for support. No more blame game! Instead of the software developer telling you the problem is with your audio interface, your audio interface manufacturer blaming your motherboard and not getting any response at all from your PC maker, you make one call and get the problem solved.
However, if you aren’t able to take advantage of Rain’s legendary support, you might need to rely on your software developer’s software options. How do they compare? Cakewalk recently sent us an interesting comparison that I thought I would share with you:
- Cakewalk charges $0 for phone support in the U.S.
- Avid charges $39.95 per incident for Pro Tools.
- Apple charges $99 per incident or $399 annual subscription for Logic Pro.
- No U.S. phone support available for Steinberg and Imageline users experiencing technical issues.
