Balance USB Audio Interface with Reason Essentials
The Balance audio interface offers two channels of pristine audio recording, and with inputs for all your gear, your instruments are always connected and you are always ready to record. It includes two microphone preamps with phantom power, high impedance guitar and bass inputs with pads, and four line inputs. Although it only offers two channel record, it does have multiple inputs so your instruments are always connected and you are always ready to record. Use the buttons on the front panel to select the active inputs.
What sets it apart from other interfaces and that it is perfectly integrated with Reason and Reason Essentials. For example, with Clip Safe you'll never lose a good take to distortion again. Big Meter lets you tune your guitar and set the levels from across the room. Of course, the Balance will also work with any other software, not just Reason.
If you aren’t familiar with Reason Essentials, it packs all the recording, editing, effects, instruments, and mixing tools you need to sound great. With its generous sound bank and familiar creative flow, it's the software that lets you focus on the music and finish that song. You can always upgrade to Reason for even more instruments, sounds, and effects.
For guitar players, the built-in virtual guitar and bass PODs from Line 6 brings a wide range of top quality guitar amps, cabinets and effects. The intuitive audio and MIDI sequencer makes recording and arranging your music a breeze.

Propellerheads has made some clever use of the integration between hardware and software. For example, Clip Safe is set up as a magical lifeline for distorted takes. It records your take on two channels, one at a lower volume so that if your recording clips, it lets you substitute it for the other one.
