Important Changes to Sibeilus 7 Academic Qualification Requirements affecting church musicians, private music teachers and more...

We are really excited about all of the great new features in Sibelius 7.  Unfortunately, there were some changes to the academic qualification requirements that make impact negatively on some of our customers.

As you can see from the new requirements below, church musicians, private music teachers, elementary/primary school students no longer qualify for the academic discount for Sibelius 7.  If you already own Sibelius, it isn't a problem, since everyone pays the academic discounted price for the Sibelius 7 Upgrade.

However, if you don't own Sibelius and no longer qualify for the academic version, we can help you purchase for close to the same price as the academic version!  If you are a church musician private music teacher or want to purchase for your son or daughter in primary school.  Contact us for details!

Here are the new requirements:

Avid Academic Institution, Academic Individual, and Student versions are for use by students, faculty, teachers, and administrators. You will be asked to verify your eligibility for the educational price after purchase. You must obtain a serial number by submitting proof of education eligibility to Avid. Read the eligibility guidelines at http://www.avid.com/eligibility

Kelly's Music & Computers does not require that you send the proof of academic status to us.

The student version includes 4 years of free upgrades from Avid. You MUST be a student and provide proof of status to Avid to qualify for the student version.
