PianoBox General MIDI Sound Module back in stock

The PianoBox General MIDI Sound Module has been a popular product and we are glad to have it back in stock.

We've also added a video of the Piano Box GM Sound Module to towards the bottom of our PianoBox page.  If you have MIDI files you would like to hear on the PianoBox, or if you have questions or would like to know more, please contact us.

The PianoBox is the perfect solution to latency problems.  This is a common problem that causes a delay between when you play a key on a MIDI keyboard and when you hear the sound.  In other words, if you are trying to record into Sibelius or Finale and the music you record doesn't line up with the existing music, it is likely due to latency - not your piano skills!

The reason this happens is that your computer is using a "software synth" for playback.  In other words, it has to "think" about how to create the sound, then tell your soundcard to actually make the sound.  Then, the soundcard itself may introduce some delay and it all adds up to make for a very frustrating experience!

The PianoBox solves this problem since it plays back MIDI from your keyboard or computer immediately without any delay or latency.  No more frustration with the music not lining up when you record, plus the PianoBox sounds better than the built in sounds in your computer.  You can also use the built in drum patterns for practicing, and it works with any keyboard with MIDI out.
