Stealthplug and Amplitube Fender Studio – price drops!

IK Multimedia’s iRig is a hugely popular way of connecting your guitar to your iPod, iPhone or iPad. Now they are hoping to replicate the popularity with their Mac and PC version: the Stealthplug and the Amplitube Fender Studio. IK has significantly reduced the price on both units to offer an even more affordable way to connect your guitar to your Mac or PC.
The StealthPlug is a compact 1/4” jack to USB audio interface cable for Guitar and Bass players to plug into the world of software-based amp/effects modeling and recording. It comes bundled with 6 software and content packages: a guitar and bass standalone and plug-in solution, a full recording studio, 2 effects and instrument plug-ins and loads of ready to use sounds and loops. Of course if you don’t need the effects and also want to record vocals or keyboards, you might be better off with something like the AudioLink II since it offers support for both guitar and mics.
