As promised at NAMM back in January, Avid now has two versions of their popular mBox audio interfaces available. You can now purchase the mBox series with our without Pro Tools 9.
This means we now have regular and academic pricing on the mBox without Pro Tools:
As well, if you prefer to use Pro Tools, then you can get the mBox with Pro Tools 9 at the regular or academic price:
This is great news since many people love the quality and sound of the mBox but either already have Pro Tools or use another DAW. If you don’t already have Pro Tools, the new mBox bundle with Pro Tools 9 is welcome news, since in the past Avid only included the older Pro Tools 8 LE.
